Wanted: Weapons of Fate continues Wesley Gibson’s story after the events of the movie, placing him between the remains of the assassin Fraternity and enemies determined to erase its bloodline. The tone is gleefully violent, pulpy, and exaggerated rather than grounded, built around slow-motion executions, shattered scenery, and a revenge plot that moves at a brisk pace. It is a compact third-person shooter that understands its main job: making the player feel dangerously overpowered without removing all pressure.

Combat revolves around snapping into cover, leaning out to fire, and using the series’ signature curved-shot ability to tag opponents who think they are safe behind obstacles. Wesley can also trigger Assassin Time, slowing the action so precise headshots, disarms, and environmental kills become easier to line up when a room gets crowded. Missions frequently switch perspective to Cross, Wesley’s father, whose style emphasizes rapid movement and dual pistols, giving the campaign a welcome change of rhythm. Linear levels keep the action focused, while collectible intel, score-based challenges, and higher difficulty settings offer reasons to revisit encounters after the story ends.

The curving-bullet system remains the standout feature, turning ordinary cover shooting into a timing and positioning puzzle that few other action games attempt. Cinematic camera work and comic-book violence give every successful kill a flashy payoff, even if the short campaign and dated presentation reveal its late-2000s roots.
