The library focuses on pre-installed PC games, with version details, screenshots, and system requirements on each game page. Follow the instructions for the individual game after extracting its archive.

Use the A–Z directory, categories, and collections to browse, or the optional desktop launcher to organize your games.

It means the game is ready to play immediately. No installer, no setup wizard, no crack to apply. Just:

1. Download the .zip file
2. Extract it with 7-Zip
3. Run the .exe and play

To update a game, download the latest version from its page. Back up your save files first — they're usually in AppData or the game folder itself.

SteamUnlocked files are always .zip files. If you downloaded an .iso or .exe, delete it immediately and try again — only click the button that matches the game title and file size shown on SteamUnlocked.

Try these fixes:

1. Use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi
2. Don't download multiple games at once
3. Use Free Download Manager for better stability
4. Extract with 7-Zip — not WinRAR or Windows built-in

If the ZIP still shows as corrupt, re-download the file — your connection may have dropped mid-transfer.

Most games are offline-only. Games that support local/couch co-op will work with controllers on the same PC. Online multiplayer servers are not available for cracked games unless specifically noted in the post.

An antivirus warning needs to be investigated. A detection may be a false positive, but it can also indicate a real threat.

Keep protection enabled, review the detection details, and leave the file quarantined while you check. If you suspect an incorrect detection, submit the file to your antivirus provider for review. Do not run or restore a flagged file unless it has been verified safe.

Missing DLL errors mean your system is missing required runtime libraries. Fix it in two steps:

1. Open the game folder and look for a _CommonRedist or Redist folder — install everything inside (DirectX, Visual C++, .NET)
2. Install the All-in-One Visual C++ Redistributable Pack: Download here

This fixes the vast majority of DLL errors including MSVCP140.dll, VCRUNTIME140.dll, and XINPUT1_3.dll.

Most launch and save errors are caused by permissions. Try this:

1. Right-click the game's .exe file
2. Select "Run as Administrator"
3. If the game still won't save, move it out of Program Files to a folder like C:\Games

Also make sure you've installed the required redistributables from the _CommonRedist folder inside the game directory.

This error means the download link wasn't accessed directly from SteamUnlocked. Common causes:

• You copy-pasted the UploadHaven link into a new tab
• You clicked the link from an external site (not SteamUnlocked)
• An ad blocker or privacy extension is stripping the referrer header

SteamUnlocked games are always .zip files. Delete any .iso or .exe you downloaded and try again — only click the button that matches the game title and file size listed on the page.

Make sure your system and drivers are fully up to date:

• NVIDIA: Update drivers
• AMD: Update drivers

Security tools can flag new or uncommon software, but a warning should not automatically be dismissed as a false positive. Download the launcher only from steamunlocked.org, keep protection enabled, and review the detection details. If you suspect an incorrect detection, submit the installer to your antivirus provider for review and leave it blocked until resolved.

Yes. When a new version is available, you'll see a banner at the top of the launcher. Click Update Now and it handles the rest — download, install, and restart. No need to re-download from the website.

Both work — the launcher is optional. The website and all UploadHaven download links still work exactly as before.

The launcher is better if you download games regularly. It's faster (parallel multi-chunk downloads), handles extraction for you, and keeps everything organized in a library. No pop-up ads to navigate around, either.

On Windows, the default download and extraction folder is C:\SteamUnlocked\. You can choose another folder during setup or change it in Settings.

No account is required to browse, download, and play. If you have an UploadHaven Pro account, you can optionally sign in for faster downloads.
