A runaway experiment turns a harmless cleaning product into an escalating feast with surprisingly apocalyptic consequences. You guide a tiny lump of grey goo that begins by swallowing microscopic dirt and bacteria, then rapidly graduates to insects, pets, vehicles, buildings, and eventually objects far beyond Earth itself. Tasty Planet is a light, arcade-style growth game built around a simple fantasy: if it is smaller than you, it is food. Its cheerful presentation keeps the destruction playful rather than grim, even as each stage transforms a small laboratory accident into a world-ending snack.

Movement is immediate and easy to understand: steer the goo around compact levels, consume eligible objects, and grow large enough to tackle the next size tier. Larger hazards and prey block progress until you have eaten enough of the surrounding scenery, so each level becomes a quick route-planning exercise as well as a race to keep expanding. The campaign includes 60 stages and more than 140 kinds of edible objects, moving from microscopic spaces through domestic environments and into increasingly absurd scale. Keyboard-and-mouse controls fit the cursor-like movement naturally, while controller support offers a more relaxed option for players who prefer analog steering.

What makes Tasty Planet work is its relentless sense of escalation. Few games sell scale so clearly: a speck of goo becomes a creature that clears rooms, streets, cities, and eventually astronomical targets, all without changing the core rule. The remade artwork gives the original game a cleaner, brighter look, while an in-game option lets longtime fans switch back to the classic visuals. It lacks the deeper systems of later Katamari-style or sandbox growth games, but that simplicity is part of its appeal.
