Death is not a simple reload: when a host falls, your spirit passes through the underworld before finding another desperate human body to inhabit. Each new host brings a different past, set of talents, and opportunities, encouraging you to adapt rather than build one invincible hero. Exploration revolves around pursuing quests, speaking with factions and divine powers, looting and equipping gear, learning abilities, and deciding whose problems are worth solving. Everyday survival matters alongside adventure: characters need food, rest, cooking, crafted potions, money, and somewhere safe to live, while loans can lead to unwanted visits from collectors and hired killers. Its body-hopping structure is the standout feature, making failure part of the story instead of merely an inconvenience and giving repeat attempts fresh perspectives. The living-world ambition also extends beyond dialogue choices, as your conduct can alter the condition of the surrounding land and the people caught in its conflicts.
