A suburban morning turns into a gleefully absurd survival nightmare when every stranger on the street suddenly becomes a violent lunatic. Press X to Not Die is a live-action interactive movie built around split-second reactions, knowingly cheesy humor, and the simple but urgent instruction to hit the right button before somebody punches, stabs, or otherwise humiliates you to death. The protagonist’s goals are straightforward: survive the chaos, track down his girlfriend, uncover the cause of the outbreak, and escape town alive. Its tone lands somewhere between a B-movie disaster flick and an old-school arcade quick-time challenge, with a cast that commits to the silliness.
