Homeseek is a harsh settlement-management strategy game built around guiding a small band of survivors through drought, scarcity, and the consequences of every difficult call. Its world feels bleak rather than theatrical: people need shelter, food, machinery, and above all clean water, while the land offers very little without careful planning. The pressure comes from trying to create a permanent home in a place that seems determined to kill it.

Two campaigns cover nine scenarios, while Story, Endless, and Survival modes give each map a different pace and reason to revisit it.

What separates Homeseek from gentler city builders is its focus on water as an ever-present strategic threat, turning population growth into a risk instead of an automatic victory condition. The game mixes the tense logistics of Frostpunk with the resource-chain planning of Banished, though its parched setting and compact scenario structure give it a more concentrated survival angle. Online multiplayer adds a competitive edge, allowing players to disrupt rivals, take supplies, and choke off another settlement before their own collapses.
