Its universe feels colorful and lonely at once: nebulae and asteroid fields provide beautiful backdrops for scavenging, while pirates, alien forces, and sudden ambushes keep the mood sharp. Death is expected, but it also pushes the central mystery forward as new memories and conversations gradually explain who the pilot is.

Each run sends you through procedurally assembled star systems, where you choose between objectives, distress calls, trading opportunities, resource-rich asteroid belts, and hazards that may be more trouble than they are worth. Difficulty can be punishing, especially early on, because an unlucky encounter or careless resource decision can end a promising run quickly.
