Where games such as DOOM or Wolfenstein 3D prioritize effortless momentum, this one asks you to respect recoil, weapon condition, and the consequences of a malfunction during a chaotic firefight. Allied characters and mysterious story elements provide some narrative texture, but the main appeal remains the tense rhythm of advancing through hostile spaces with unreliable hardware in hand.
