What stands out is how naturally inventory Tetris becomes a combat system rather than a menu chore. Backpack Hero has the run-to-run unpredictability and build experimentation associated with Slay the Spire, but its visual, hands-on organization gives every successful combo a different flavor. Enemy behavior is readable enough for newcomers to learn, while the breadth of items and character-specific strategies gives roguelike veterans plenty to optimize.
